Health & Social Care - Level 1

Level 1 BTEC Certificate in Health and Social Care is designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and understanding of health and social care principles, which is then broadened through the optional units that give an understanding of factors that affect individual’s lifestyle choice and their health impacts, while acquiring and developing fundamental workplace skills needed within the health sector.

At least 240 guided learning hours is recommended for the completion of this course program. Some units are internally assessed within our centre and the others are externally assessed by the awarding body. This course is taught and assessed by delivering evidence-based portfolio and tasks assigned.
